Our story: from meeting at 12 years old to the creation of ODACE

Notre histoire : de notre rencontre à 12 ans à la création de ODACE

Our story: from meeting at 12 to the creation of ODACE

We met when we were 12. Today, we create engagement rings.

I still remember that moment very precisely. The first day of 6th grade. A classroom just like any other… And then Manon.

At that age, you don't really understand what's happening. But some things just become clear, without being able to explain why.

    Growing up together and creating

    We grew up together.

In the high school hallways, we were already spending hours dreaming up projects. Sketches, ideas, a desire to create. We did everything as a pair. Our group projects. Even our senior research project. It was natural. Obvious.

Then came the departures. Suitcases, different cities, different lives. London, Texas, California, Sydney… And finally, New York.

    The discovery of lab-grown diamonds

That is where everything took on a new meaning.

We discovered lab-grown diamonds. And above all, a different way of doing jewelry. Fairer. More sincere. More in line with our values.

Without even really realizing it, ODACE was already there.

Creating a different kind of jewelry house

Upon returning to France, we decided to create ODACE, a French jewelry house specializing in engagement rings made of recycled gold and set with lab-grown diamonds.

Each creation is designed to accompany a unique moment: a proposal, a promise, a commitment.

    Jewelry to celebrate love

Today, what touches us most in our work as jewelers are the moments when our clients entrust us with a part of their story.

Because, deep down, we know exactly what that represents.

And sometimes, we think back to that classroom.

To those two 12-year-olds who, without knowing it, were already writing much more than just a love story.
